Ultimate Food Allergens Webinar: Beginner to Pro

Food business operators or key decision makers in SME start-ups who are trading and existing food businesses.

All food businesses, including caterers and manufacturers, need to provide accurate and up to date allergen information to their customers, and be able to make safe food for people with allergies.

Allergen legislation has recently been amended by Natasha’s Law. This means that if you serve pre-packed for direct sale (PPDS) food you need to follow the new rules from October 1st 2021.

The information available on allergens can be confusing and difficult to fully understand how it applies to your business and what you must do legally. As a food business operator, you have a duty to keep your staff, customers, and visitors safe by providing them with information about allergens that are contained in the food you produce and serve.

Helen Groves, Chartered Environmental Practitioner is the owner of Food Safety Logic, she has extensive experience supporting food businesses in food safety and allergens to make sure they are legal.

Helen has worked with hundreds of food businesses both in the public and private sector. She will share her knowledge and experience but also pass on best practice and tips. She will give you the tools to help you make sure your allergen information is accurate and up to date, whether you are a new business or have been trading for a while. She will also be signposting you to further helpful information and resources.

Following the webinar there will be a 1:1 ‘Ask the Expert’ session (pre-booked on Calendly) with Helen when you will have the opportunity to ask specific questions about allergens and food safety in your business, and complete a business review for signposting to further support you may need.
